CNC routing uses rotating cutters to shape panels and carve into the material, making it a practical choice for cabinet components, plywood parts and dimensional woodwork. Laser cutting uses a focused beam to follow detailed outlines for lettering, logos and decorative pieces. Laser cutting goes through the material to create a separate shape or part. Engraving adds text, a logo, a pattern or an image to the surface without cutting out the whole shape. Your project can combine an engraved design with a cut outline, such as a branded acrylic sign or a personalised wood piece.

We CNC cut wood, plywood, MDF and acrylic for cabinet parts, decorative panels, lettering and custom components. We also CNC/router cut aluminum up to 2 mm thick. Aluminum is offered for CNC/router cutting only; we do not laser cut aluminum or work with stainless steel or other steel.

We laser cut and engrave wood and acrylic for logos, signs, decorative pieces and custom designs. Suitable leather projects are also considered after checking the leather type and finish. Include the material name, thickness and any coating with your artwork so the process is planned for the actual stock.

For cutting, send dimensioned vector or CAD artwork at the finished size, with units, material thickness and quantity clearly marked. Convert lettering to outlines, remove duplicate cut lines, and identify which details should be cut or engraved. For photographic engraving, send the original high-resolution image rather than a screenshot. Our CNC routing work area is 5 ft by 10 ft, and our laser work area is 24 in by 40 in. Aluminum CNC/router cutting is available up to 2 mm thick. For wood, plywood, MDF and acrylic, include the stock thickness and largest finished part with your enquiry so we can plan the cutting layout and working clearance.

For fitted parts, mark the critical dimensions, slots, holes and mating components on your drawing. A CNC router's round cutter leaves a radius in internal corners, so a square mating part may need corner relief. Include the required clearance and final use so the fit can be addressed before cutting.

Cast acrylic is the better choice for a bright, frosted engraving on clear acrylic, making it useful for engraved logos and lettering. Extruded acrylic works well for cut shapes but produces much less engraving contrast. Tell us which type you are supplying and whether the priority is engraving, edge appearance or the fit of the finished part.

Your quote is built around the material, thickness, part dimensions, quantity and the cutting or finishing work required. Send the full part list and artwork together so setup, cutting and finishing can be priced as one scope. For edge banding, show which sides need edging, rather than giving only the number of panels.

Yes, we handle one-off pieces and production runs. Cabinet makers, kitchen contractors, restaurant contractors and other shops can use ANP for outsourced CNC parts, edge banding and wood or acrylic logo work. For repeat orders, include the expected quantities and ordering schedule so we can discuss an ongoing production arrangement.

You can request cutting or edge banding using your own stock. Send the material name, thickness, sheet or panel sizes, and photos of its condition before bringing it to the workshop. For pre-cut panels, also tell us whether your dimensions are the raw panel sizes or the finished sizes including edge banding.

Edge banding covers the exposed panel core with a finished strip, giving cabinet panels, shelves and other components a cleaner appearance while helping protect vulnerable edges from everyday handling. Our standard edge banding is 1 mm thick. Mark the visible or exposed sides on your panel list so the right edges receive the finish.

Yes, we edge band drawer faces and drawer fronts for cabinet projects. It finishes the exposed perimeter so the front looks complete when the drawer is opened as well as when it is closed. Send the panel sizes, thickness, quantity and sides to be edged, with the dimensions clearly identified as raw or finished sizes.

We assess the edging against the panel's colour, grain, texture and gloss level to create a coordinated finish. Send the panel brand and decor code, or provide a labelled sample, so the available edging can be matched to the actual surface. For visible woodgrain or gloss finishes, compare a physical sample before approving the final combination.

Panels for straight edging should be flat and accurately sized, with square, clean edges free from loose chips or damage. Send photos of chipped edges, old edging or glue residue so any preparation can be included in the work.
